Deferred from the core-loop MVP (see `docs/PRD.md` for full details on each).

- [ ] **Custom splits**: allow overriding the equal split with exact per-participant amounts; validate that they sum to the expense total. Extends `computeSplit` (`shared/utils/split.ts`) with the `overrides` param.
- [x] **PayPal "pay me" link**: store on device via `localStorage` (extend `useIdentity`), sync to the participant row whenever identity is associated with a Pot, and display next to a participant's name/balance.
- [x] **Recent Pots list**: client-side `localStorage` list of Pots created/visited on this device, shown on the home page for quick access.
- [x] **Tap-to-settle payments**: mark a suggested settlement as paid, creating a `Payment` record (new DB table + API routes) distinct from expenses; fold into `calculateBalances`'s existing `payments` param.
- [ ] **Live polling**: poll the Pot view (expenses/participants/balances) every 5–10s while open, re-rendering on change.
- [ ] **Emoji per pot**: show an emoji next to the pot name. use a keyword list like Geburtstag and birthday to select an emoji like the cake one
- [ ] native confirm dialog to delete
